1 cup tomato sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons Kraft original barbeque sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 lb ground sirloin
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
dash garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix the first 3 ingredients in a small pan over medium heat on the stove. Heat until mixture starts to bubble. Stir often. Remove from heat.
Put the ground sirloin and all but 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce mixture in a large mixing bowl. Mix together very well with your hands. Add the rest of the ingredients to the meat mixture. Again, mix together very well with your hands.
Put the mixture into a loaf pan. Cover the loaf pan with foil and put in preheated oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, take meatloaf out of oven. Remove aluminum foil and drain off the fat and water. Slice the meatloaf while still in the pan. Pour the leftover 2 tablespoons of sauce over the top of the meatloaf slices. Put meatloaf back into oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes or until meatloaf is done.
Makes approximately 4-5 servings

Copycat Recipe of the Day
This blog will feature a new copycat recipe each day. The top secret restaurant recipes will include recipes from casual restaurants, fast food restaurants, all kinds of restaurants. There will be appetizer restaurant recipes, main dish recipes from restaurants, copycat dessert recipes, and more recipes added daily.
My first copy cat restaurant recipe will be a recipe clone favorite of mine. Drumroll, please....
KFC Coleslaw Recipe
8 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrots
2 1/2 tablespoons chopped onions
1/2 cup salad dressing (Like Miracle Whip)
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk or 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vinegar
dash salt
dash pepper
Chop up the cabbage, carrots, and onion very fine. Do not leave any large pieces in the KFC coleslaw.
Mix the rest of the ingredients together well. Add the cabbage mixture and stir together well.
Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours before eating.
Serves approximately 10 people
You will swear this is the authentic KFC cole slaw recipe. It is delicious, just like at KFC. Of course, you may adjust the coleslaw recipe to your individual tastes. Some people don't like onions, some like their cole slaw sweeter or more tart. Also, adjust the salt and pepper. But in my opinion, this KFC recipe clone tastes exactly like KFC cole slaw, which I love.
